Recommend a Book for Featured Books

Every few weeks we like to highlight three books chosen by adults and children around the world who use the ICDL. These Featured Books appear on the Home page and are archived for other visitors of the ICDL Web site to view.

We hope that you will consider being a Featured Books contributor to the ICDL. Our Featured Books contributors briefly share their reactions to three books from the ICDL collection, which we post to our Web site along with links to the books themselves.

We welcome any Featured Books contributions, but we are especially interested in having books selected that have not been featured before. We have found that new users will often click on our Featured Books before they attempt a search of their own, serving for them as an introduction to the ICDL. Frequent ICDL users also access our Featured Books to view selections they had not previously found in their own search queries. Our Featured Books, therefore, tend to be at the top of our user statistics for books that have been accessed and read.

Feel free to tell your colleagues and any other individuals interested in children's literature about our Featured Books. With a little help from an adult, even children can use our form to submit Featured Books to the ICDL!
